69 pp. Steel-engraved frontispiece portrait of Lincoln. 9x5½, original dark brown pebbled and blindstamped cloth, front cover decoratively lettered in gilt. First Edition.

Also published in New York, but that issue did not have the portrait. With original printed envelope, used for mailing but not addressed, rubberstamped "Duplicate," present with this copy; it is chipped along spine, opened at one end, etc. Sabin 3132.

Condition:

Spine ends nicked, small piece of paper residue from the mailing envelope adhered to lower corner of back cover; discloration to pastedowns from binder's glue, near fine.
