Beautiful edition of Christopher Logue's version of Homer's Iliad, produced at the expense of Paul Getty. For these 12 special copies, Getty requested they be printed on vellum. However, on advice from the printer regarding the difficulty of such an endeavor, it was decided to use Simon Green's Finale watermarked paper specially made for this edition. Laid in is a photograph of all 12 copies of this edition, standing side-by-side, and a printed slip "With Compliments, Sir Paul Getty, KBE."
