Original manuscript by an unknown lecturer, presenting a tribute to white Americans of Anglo-Saxon descent ("...as most of us here present belong to that branch of the great human family..."), and giving the reasons for their position at the top of the pecking order. The history of the Anglo-Saxon peoples is traced from the fifth century, when the Britons were abandoned by their Roman protectors and assailed by the Scots and Picts. Particular attention is later paid to the rise of the American Republic, and the achievements of the United States.
