5 pages, printed with some text typed and with red ink corrections. 14x8¾, pre-folded, standard contractual document, with a black ribbon tie and red waxed Knopf seal on top.

Purchase, Rights, and Royalties agreement between James M. Cain and Alfred A. Knopf for Cain's book, Galatea. Signed by James M. Cain and Alfred Knopf and two witnesses, with numerous paragraphs initialed by Cain, and with some of the contract stipulations struck in red.

Condition:

Light wear overall, else near fine or better.
