3 pages, printed, with typed text and inked corrections. 14½x8½, pre-folded, standard contractual document, stapled.

Purchase, Rights, and Royalties agreement between Cain and the Dial Press for Cain's book, Mignon. Signed by James M. Cain and the publisher of the Dial Press, along with two witnesses. Numerous marginal rubberstamps for paragraphs, each initialed by Cain and another person, and with some of the contract stipulations inked in dark blue.

Condition:

Light wear, else near fine. Scarce.
