6 pages, printed and typed. 14x8½, pre-folded, standard contractual sheets.

Signed by Cain twice (once on the original contract, and once on an attached Copyright Agreement), also by two witnesses and the representative for Warner Bros. Pictures. Also, initialed by Cain several times throughout. With two official embossed circular stamps. Serenade was originally published by Knopf in 1937. This contract yielded the 1956 film Serenade, directed by Anthony Mann and starring Mario Lanza, Joan Fontaine and Vincent Price.

Condition:

Light wear, about fine. Rare.
