Great collection of early I.O.O.F. and other societies' rule-books and memorabilia. Includes a scarce 1864 broadside and two extensive manuscript books. Many of the Societies are early Western ones, including several located around the Comstock Lode. Also note the printed constitution of Amity Lodge, No.4 which was (and still is) in Silver City, Nevada on the edge of the Virginia City area.
