This list of rules would have been posted at all California quarries, it includes some that sound tragically obvious today: "You are forbidden to take wine, beer or other intoxicating liquor into the quarry", "No person working in or about a quarry shall wilfully cause another person to receive an electric shock," "You must not open a metal keg of powder with a pick or metal object," etc.
