Illustrated by Arthur Rackham, including a tipped-in color plate and many silhouette illustrations in colors. 10x7¼, original cloth-backed pictorial boards, pictorial endpapers; dust jacket. First Rackham Trade Edition.

Signed and with a small original drawing by Rackham on gray laid paper, tipped in after the half-title. The drawing appears to be the glass slipper of Cinderalla, which was the other title that Rackham illustrated in silhouette. Latimore & Haskell, p.51.

Condition:

Jacket spine panel faded and with small chip at head; bookplate; a little toning to half-title; about fine.
