Scarce, privately printed book of considerable interest. Includes a chapter on the development of the famous Coxe reels, later marketed under the name Coxe-Bronson. Coxe fished with Captain George Farnsworth and pioneered not only reels and tackle, but also big game fishing techniques. Also, a description of the famous "San Clemente Sea Monster." The title-page states "First numbered edition," but copies were not numbered. This copy with ownership signature of Irving Parker Stone dated 1936.
