xxiii, 304 pp. Preface by Bobby Jones. Illustrated with several plates from photographs. 8vo. Dark blue cloth, gilt-decoration on front cover, spine lettered in gilt, color pictorial jacket. Second printing.

Inscribed and signed by Bobby Jones on the front free endpaper: "For Rex Edmondson, with best wishes, Bob Jones." Rex Edmondson worked for the Augusta Herald during the 1950's. A classic and one of the most important biographies on Bobby Jones. Donovan & Murdoch 31770; Murdoch 637.

Condition:

Jacket spine a bit darkened, tiny nicks and tears, a few creases, 1" tear to rear panel; edge wear and soiling to volume, darkening to page edges and endpapers; else very good in like jacket; scarce biography to be signed by the subject himself.
