1-page, ten-line letter by Will James addressed to W. Colson Leigh, Inc., of New York, dated December 15, 1931. He writes: "I am sorry that I won't be able to lecture this winter. I am also sorry that I didn't answer your letter sooner, and when ever I am free to do any lecturing, which on't be until spring I will get in touch with you or Mr. Bye. Wishing you a Merry Xmas, Very sincerely yours, Will James. P.S. If you can get them lectures connected up with Radio, George Bye can tell you that my test went well." 9½x8½".

Will James (born Joseph Ernest Nephtali Dufault in Quebec), left home as a teenager to live out his dream of becoming a cowboy in the American West. Ultimately, he became one of the greatest western author/illustrator's of his generation, accurately describing cowboy and ranch life.
