American publication of Lavoisne's popular and influential historical atlas, with a few significant American maps, including a half-sheet North America with the Lewis River present in the northwest, and a map of the United States (John Melish's United States of America, with no side text) to just over the continental divide with Clarke's River as well (also shows a very large Texas stretching far to the north). Ex-library with bookplate of New Jersey Historical Society, their rubberstamp to title, no markings on maps.
