Includes the exceedingly rare 6 die-cut "waddle toys," which are pre-assembled (no longer in their flat cardboard panel state). They are pictured on the front cover of the book, "...the story book with characters that come out and walk." No perforated stubs present, however Hanff & Greene note that the waddles were never bound into this edition, but were issued separately. Also with the folding yellow brick road separated in two parts (pictured on the book cover). The waddle toys are printed in colors on a thin stock cardboard with metal hip connectors for the legs, shaped in a way to give them their waddle-like walk. Does not contain the original instructional envelope which held the die-cut parts. This is the second state, with no imprint at spine foot. Hanff & Greene I, pp. 35-36, Plate 7.
