Famed illustrated work on Ireland. Apparently a later printing, with occasional broken type, but the plates with excellent impressions. Ownership signatures of David J. Newman, Cork, dated October 10, 1872 to front flyleaf and the foot of the first title, the latter noting cost of four pounds, 17 shillings, 6 pence. Blindstamp of Edwin Bergstrom, Los Angeles architect, to first title-page and a few places within.
