xxvi pp. text + 100 halftone plates reproducing etchings, woodcuts & lithographs; original signed proof etching by John Taylor Arms loose in envelope, as issued. Introduction by Royal Cortissoz. 11¼x8½, quarter leather & boards, lettering in gilt, jacket. One of 150 copies of the Edition de Luxe containing an original etching. The original etching, signed by Arms in pencil and dated 1931, is "Tour Notre Dame du Val, Provins," a church steeple behind stone houses and shops.

Condition:
Jacket worn, spine ends chipped, tape repairs on verso; leather spine rubbed, ends chipped, starting to split at joints near spine head; slight foxing to page edges, else very good, near fine internally, the etching clean with a nice impression.
