Nice copy of Owen Jones' esteemed and influential work, first published in 1856, presenting ornamental motifs through the ages, ranging from the "Savage Tribes" through the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Turks, Indians, medieval Europe, Renaissance, etc.
