[4], 351 pp. 7¼x5, red cloth, lettered in gilt, jacket. First Edition. Signed by Zane Grey in purple ink on the front free endpaper. Harper's code "G-W" on copyright page. Grey's tribute to "the American men who gave themselves to the service in the great war [WWI]." Includes an original mailing envelope from Zane Grey's wife Dolly in Altadena, CA, addressed to Zane Grey in purple ink and containing a newspaper clipping titled "Latest News of Zane Grey," regarding his witnessing of a snake dance ritual during a visit at a Hopi Indian Reservation.
