An extremely detailed atlas of a portion of Philadelphia, with hand-colored maps, includes map showing Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Park (National League), other structures and buildings, railroad lines, cemeteries, churches, parks, roads, etc. Each map with 2" to 4" portion cut off at fore edge, possibly a publisher's flaw; index map and plate 3 retain the folding portion. Includes two additional maps of Philadelphia, one a 1914 map from another source affixed to front endpapers, the second a linen-backed color lithographed map from the same publisher (center split) laid in.

Condition:
Covers soiled, darkening to margins, extremities rubbed, frays to spine end and corners; endpapers soiled, original green cloth hinge rubbed, laid in map heavily soiled with tears, map images throughout clean, else about very good.
