One page pencil manuscript, 11x8½". Ezra pound, in his way of writing, which we must loosely transcribe herewith. Please see the full scan for the complete text on our web site. As best we can, the text reads as follows:
“Wotter poetry there is a simple new Edy known as Papier Foy and sold @ about 15c in any Territory in hali Tod (sic) by human beinkz.  yrs EZ”. Because Foy is a brand of French cigarette papers, perhaps Ezra is requesting some of these "Papier Foy" that cost about 15 cents... In any case, well worthy of further research for its interpretation. Accomplished in his large bold handwriting on an 8-1/2 x 11” letter sheet, that has folds that appear to have been for mailing.

Signed "EZ", an abbreviation of Ezra. Provenance: The Estate of Eustace Mullins, his friend and biographer, to whom the letter was written when Pound was undergoing electroshock therapy.
