Vivid descriptions of Burton's travels and observations throughout Brazil in diary form, with much on the gold mines worked by English companies. First issue, with map facing page 1 in Volume 2. Penzer pp. 78-80.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
