About 6 images are approx. 25.5x38 cm, most a bit smaller. Album is 30x42 cm. (12x16½"), half morocco & cloth, lettered in gilt "Egypt 1887" on front cover, all edges gilt.

Excellent photograph album of Egypt, with views by notable photographers of the region - 18 are signed in the negative by Antonio Beato; 17 by Pascal Sebah; 4 by Felix Bonfils; 4 by Abdullah Freres; and 2 by H. Arnoux. Included are many of archaeological ruins and hieroglyphics; views of the pyramids and giant sphinx; the streets of Cairo; wells and other agricultural features; mosques; statuary; and more.
