With a total of 30 plates (Plate v not present, and plate vi appearing twice). No copy sold since 1995, according to American Book Prices Current. Interesting work on astronomy, geography and dialing by the English astronomer Thomas Wright. He was the first to describe the shape of the Milky Way and speculate that faint nebulae were distant galaxies. Also included is A Synopsis of the Doctrine of Eclipses. Title page states that the book is: "Illustrated with a great number of copper-plates, explanatory of each proposition, in a manner entirely new."
