Description:

Color map, folding. Sheet size 57x72 cm (22½x28¼"), folding to 19x9 cm (7½x3½").

Shows the western U.S. from Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming to the Pacific, with a little of the northern and southern extremities cut off. Indicated standard gauge, narrow gauge, three rails, and connecting lines. The verso of the map is covered with printed information on the D. & R.G. and the region it covers, including a comparison of Colorado and Switzerland - Colorado comes out slightly ahead. OCLC/WorldCat lists only four copies, but all dated 1910 - there are no listings of this 1911 issue.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
