  • Rawlings "Game Ball" from the XXIIIrd Olympiad games, held in Los Angeles in 1984, as printed upon the ball, as issued.
  • Rawlings "Official Ball" from the 1987 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, held in Oakland, California, as printed upon the ball, as issued.
  • Rawlings Baseball signed by Bobby Thompson of the New York Giants and Ralph Branca of the Brooklyn Dodgers,  the players of  the famous "Shot Heard 'Round the World" from the National League playoff game on Oct. 3, 1951.

The "Shot Heard 'Round the World" is an epithet used to describe the game winning home run by New York Giant Bobby Thompson off of Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Ralph Branca at the Polo Grounds in New York City on Oct. 3, 1951. The ball included here is signed by both players in blue ink and "The Polo Grounds - Oct. 3, 1951" is written upon the ball as well. The ball is contemporary of the era.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
