Description:

24 pp. Full-page map. (8vo) 23x14.8 cm (9x5¾"), original printed wrappers. Second Edition.

First published the preceding year; this printing has the name of the compiler, E.S. Currey & Kruska notes that "The booklet contains a listing of maximum saddle horse and carriage rental rates, a compilation of the number of tourists visiting the valley between 1855 and 1885, a description of the principal routes to the valley, a table of distances between valley points of interest, and general information for campers." OCLC/WorldCat locates only four copies of the 1887 edition, at the California Historical Society, California State Library, California State University Fresno, and University of California Berkeley, and only five copies of the 1886 edition are listed.
