The full-page inscription in the first is appropriate to its subject matter, "To Dolly, Way back in the Lackawanna days - the dream and happy days - you awakened in me a dormant love of poetry, and so opened another channel of my mind toward that expression you had faith in - With love, Zane." All but the second have Zane Grey's Altadena blindstamp.
