140 pp. With numerous full-page street maps; large folding map attached to rear pastedown. (12mo) 15.3x9.3 cm (6x3¾"), red buckram.

Schedules and maps for 48 street railway lines, making up five street car systems: Market Street Railway System (the largest); California Street Railway System; San Francisco & San Mateo Railway System; Sutter Street Railway System; Presidio and Ferries Railway System. Most of lines are electric; a number are cable cars; and four are horse car lines. The lines cover the settled parts of the city. There are two inserted supplements on pink paper. The large map at rear, printed in blue, is "Britton & Rey's Map of the City of San Francisco compiled from the latest Official Data. For Richardson's Street Railway Guide..." It measures 49.5x60.5 cm.

Margins a little browned and brittle, one leaf with archival tape repair in margin; map with two left panels darkened; very good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
