Contained in this volume is the report of the Surveyor General, with 13 maps, including two maps of Oregon. The most important of these is "A Diagram of a Portion of Oregon Territory," surveyed by B. Preston, Surveyor General of Oregon. It covers the area from the California border up to the Canadian border and east to the Cascades, and locates Portland, Oregon City, Astoria, Salem, Santiam City, Winchester, Cascade City, Umpqua and several other settlements. It measures 122x40 cm. The other is "Map of the Surveyed Portion of Oregon Territory." At the beginning of the volume is the index to the eleven-volume set of Executive Documents.

Covers worn, joints cracked, rather crude leather repair at top of spine; Some foxing within, minor offset to maps, large Oregon map with some light wear at fold intersections; very good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
