Painstakingly researched and edited by Berger, the volume provides previously unknown biographical information about Tindale and delves into the details of the production of his classic work. Includes a full reprint of the original 1952 text by Thomas Keith Tindale and Harriet Ramsey Tindale.The original was published in an edition of 250 copies, considered by many the finest all-around book on paper scholarship. The present volume went out of print very quickly and is becoming quite scarce.
