Album of photographs documenting a trip to Hawaii by a group of well-to-do men and women

With approx. 150 silver photographs glued to black album leaves. Images range from about 10x7.5 cm (4x3") to 16.5x11.5 cm (6½x4½"). Abum is 29x36 cm (11½x14"), flexible black morocco.

Fun and games in Hawaii for members of the privileged class, with photographs including: 25 well-dressed men and women wearing floral leis on a ship's deck; views from the ship; Japanese garden and various other gardens and big trees; surfers on a beach and riding waves; outdoor dining room under canopy of vines; roadway flanked by palms; Diamond Head and lava formations; outrigger canoeing; bathers in the surf; large hotel and cottages; hula dancers; ukulele players; golfers on a course; horseback riders; vintage automobiles; military officers and a drill parade, with canons and cavalry unit; local beachcomber; country estate; mountain-top views; group portraits aboard ship, including one of a costume party. The photographs are not captioned.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
