A popular eighteenth-century sailing narrative, Anson's voyage during the years 1740 to 1744 brought back new information on the little-known areas around the southern tip of South America. Compiled from George Anson's journals, the book was first published as an official account of this expedition by the ship's chaplain, Richard Walter in 1748. [Sabin 1625].

Wear to surfaces and extremities; corners exposed; losses to the head and foot of the spine. Hinges cracked. A previous owner's name on the front pastedown. Some foxing internally; else very good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
