24 volumes of the famous Baedeker series of travel guides, founded by Karl Baedeker in 1827. The included volumes span the years of  1879-1927, with the vast majority being from the first decade of the 20th century. Included are guides to the United States, Great Britain, Italy, France, Germany, Palestine and Syria, Egypt, and Austria among many others. Also included are 3 guides from other publishers dating from the 1950's and 60's, for a total of 27 volumes. All volumes are assumed generally complete, though individual volumes have not been collated. Sold as is.
