Various sizes, original printed wrappers

The three offprints by R.R. Gates are important papers by the Canadian-born geneticist who published widely in the fields of botany and eugenics. A strong opponent of interracial marriage, he argued that "races were separate species." Each offprint with rubberstamp of University College London to front wrapper, along with a few ink accession numbers. Each of the three monographs from the Francis Galton Library with the rubberstamp of the Huxley Library, London.

The three monographs are:
