Scarce guide to the oilfields of central and southern California, still producing over a century later. The folding maps indicate the ownership of rights to the various plots of land, the location of wells, and of transportation facilities. The maps, each approximately 37x36.5 cm, show the Kern River Oil District, Sunset Oil District, Midway Oil District, and the McKittrick Oil District. Scarce, OCLC locates 3 copies of this 1901 issue, PBA has previously offered a 1904 issue (with 2 additional maps) and 1908 & 1910 issues are also known.

Lot Amendments

Light wear to wrappers, crease at center, previous owner's name on first leaf; some light wear or rippling to maps; very good.
