Eight letters, all addressed to Bob Mendralla. Includes: 2 letters from Patty Berg, one with specifications for customizing her clubs, the other congratulating his 45 years with Wilson, also a photo of Berg; 1 letter from Tom Kite, Jr. with comments on the loft and bounce of various clubs and with some recommended adjustments; 1 card from Jay Haas thanking Mendralla for extra wedges; 1 letter from Andy North, a copy of his recommendation of Mendralla to the Illinois Hall of Fame Nominating Committee; and, 3 letters from Jim Ferrier commenting on various clubs designed by Mendralla. Also included is a manuscript sheet by Mendralla titled "Features of Wilson Precision Built Irons, with four key points of the club heads described in depth, also a series of drawings of various positions of the head, approximately 14x17".

Robert Mendralla was a nationally known golf club designer for Chicago-based Wilson Sporting Goods, fashioning clubs for many notable golfers and celebrities. Mendralla worked at Wilson for 57 years, rising from a job performing miscellaneous tasks such as sweeping Wilson's factory to become one of the nation's few designers of forged golf clubs in an industry now dominated by cast, or molded, clubs.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail.  We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
