A catechism entirely in the Chippewa dialect of the Algonquin language. The format is in a question-and-answer style.

"Father Gafron writes me that he was prevented by circumstances from reading the proof of this work, and that it contains many typographic errors" - Pilling.  An errata list would be published in 1884.  Father John Gafron was a Prussian-born missionary who worked with the Chippewa in Nebraska before moving to Wisconsin.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
