2 profusely illustrated volumes from Jourdain's important "Library of Decorative Art" series. Margaret Jourdain (1876-1951) was a foremost authority on English furniture and design, and the still (at the time) virtually unexplored history of interior decoration and furnishing. One volume with the decorative bookplate of Franklin Mott Gunther, one-time U.S. Ambassador to Romania.
