2 volumes. [2], 242, [15]; 222, [10] ff. Printer's device on title pages, headpiece and historiated initial on dedication page, woodcut initials. (folio), 15.2x25 cm (14¼x10"), old vellum printed leaves over boards backed with quarter vellum, inked spine titles, raised bands. 

Six copies on OCLC WorldCat. Italian jurist of the 14th century. Early ownership signatures on title pages, hand lettering to the foot of both volumes.

Lot Amendments

Only mild wear to spines, vellum-covered boards lightly stained, corners bumped and rubbed, Volume I title page shows dampstaining, occasional staining and dampstaining to pages; Volume II front hinge starting, a few tender signatures; very good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
