(Large 8vo) 26x19.5 cm (10¼x7¾"), full maroon morocco, large center figure of a fleur-de-lys in turquoise morocco onlay and gilt, elaborate border of lily bouquets and garlands in gilt and with onlay flowers of turquoise morocco onlays, spine gilt, raised bands, brown morocco doublures with wide gilt borders on blue-green morocco, front doublure with oval inset on white kid leather with a hand-colored engraving duplicating the title page design, silk endleaves, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. One of twenty lettered copies of the "Edition de Deux Mondes."
A gorgeously produced volume, superbly illustrated and bound. Printed on Japan vellum.
