WITHDRAWN Wakmann triple date chronograph wristwatch, no reference number, no movement number. Movement signed "BRITIX WATCH CO.", case back engraved "ACIER INOXYDABLE 3524", inner case back marked "BRITIX WATCH CO. / SWISS". Assembled in New York from Swiss components by Brietling under the sub-brand Wakmann, circa 1960s.

17-jewel movement, appears to belong to the Venus 195 / 200 family, without the moon phase complication, unsigned, manual wind, white dial with applied gilt Arabic numerals, black inner minute track, blue outer date track, gilt stick hands, gilt date hand with red crescent, red center chronograph hand, day and month apertures at 11 and 1, sub-seconds and 30 minute recording at 3 and 9, round stainless steel case, fitted unbranded brown leather strap. 35mm diameter not including crown, 18mm lugs.

Recently serviced, runs smoothly, chronograph resets crisply, not tested for timekeeping, dial has been examined by a jeweler who indicates that it appears original, but no warrant to this effect is made.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. For international shipments are preferred carrier is FedEx..For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
