The only recorded copy of the now third earliest known USGA Amateur Championship Program, preceded only by the 1910 program offered in the prior lot and a very rare 1899 program. Largely a viewbook of for the city of Roslyn, New York, the actual program not begriming until page 23 and including the daily schedule, a description of the event with photo of the Engineers Country Club House facing, a description of the Country Club with a montage of three photos facing, a list of the President and officers of the club, and "Suggestions for Conduct of Galleries at Amateur Championship." The championship was won by Chick Evans, defeating Francis Ouimet in the finals. Provenance: From the collection of Theodore Prussing LeVino.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
