328, [32] ad pp. Profusely illustrated with 90 plates and 6 hand-colored plates as well as hand-colored frontispiece and half title, with small woodblock illustrations throughout. (8vo), 22.5x14 cm. (9x5¾"), rebacked leather, spine tooled in gilt.

Sabin 50455 notes that the author is actually John Frost, adding "this is the first work of its prolific author, if such a term can be applied to a notorious pilferer." Sabin 26039.

Rebacked, wear and rubbing to covers and extremities with some loss; both hinges repaired, foxing, toning, tape repairs and tears; overall good.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
