Laid in is the rare prospectus/publisher's announcement for the volume, which we have not seen included with any other copies of the publication. This was Brautigan's first inclusion in a poetry anthology and one of his earliest appearances in print. It includes his poems, 'The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth's Beer Bottles,' 'The Mortuary Bush,' 'Twelve Roman Soldiers and an Oatmeal Cookie,' and 'Gifts.' The slim volume also features the work of Martin Hoberman, Carl Larsen, and James M. Singer. Scarce.
