First printed edition of this treatise on Vampires by the Italian Cathollic patriarch, written in 1739 but circulated only in manuscript form during his lifetime, before being brought to the press nearly two decades after his death, by his nephew Domenico Forges Davanzati. OCLC locates only seven copies.
