Volumes II & III (of 3). [6], 543, [2]; 228 [i.e. 328] (of [336]), [3] pp. With 36 (of 40?) folding engraved plates. (8vo) 16.3x10 cm (6½x4"), period calf.

The second and third volumes of a three-volume set on practical sciences, including hydraulics, perspective, optics, astronomy, military architecture, etc. Vol. II lacking 1 leaf in first signature, probably a blank; Vol. III lacking signature Y4 at end, before the index, but leaf X8v with "Finis".  Also, lacking 4, or perhaps 5, plates. Sold as is.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
