Signed by the author on the front free endpaper with an inscription to Nobel Prize winner in Physics, Donald Glaser: "Remembering our evening at Sarah Wilson's / Best / Alan Harrington". Donald Arthur Glaser, an American physicist, neurobiologist, was awarded the Nobel Prize for his invention of the bubble chamber used in subatomic particle physics.
