[4], 56, [4] pp. 40 engraved plates, folding chart, plus extra engraved title page, all backed with contemporary marbled paper. 33x20 cm (13x8") full period vellum.

One of the earliest works on anatomy in which the names of muscles are engraved on the depictions in each plate. An unusual copy, with each plate backed by marbled paper from the period.
