A collection of scarce miscellaneous Brautigan related volumes; critical studies, memoirs, etc., including the rare first printing  of a collection of Beatles lyrics introduced by Brautigan.

Includes:

  • Cook, Bruce. The Beat Generation. Cloth, illustrated dust jacket. A crtique of the Beat generation, with references to Brautigan. near fine. NY: Charles Scribners Sons, 1971.
  • Gordon, Roxy. Some Things I Did. Pictorial boards, matching dust jacket. An account of Texans Roxy and Judy Gordon's "encounter with American culture" in the 1960s. Among the people they encountered was Richard Brautigan. This book is dedicated to Brautigan "whose favorite gun is the Colt Navy .36". Brautigan also provided a dust jacket blurb. A year earlier Brautigan had dedicated his poetry collection, "Rommel Drives On Deep Into Egypt" to Roxy and Judy Gordon. Fine. Encino Press, 1971.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. We do NOT ship USPS Media Mail under any circumstances.For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a minimum $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
