Morden's important world geography, with maps of the various regions of the world, including a map of the American continents and six of what are now portions of the United States. The maps of the World, the Americas, and New Mexico show California as an island. It states on the title page that there are seventy-six maps, and seventy-six are listed on the "Catalogue of the Maps..." facing the title page, but there are unlisted maps of Armenia (p.342) and the Bahamas (on inserted text leaf following p. 544). The map of Tartarie (p.387) is laid down over the original printing of the map (for some reason, perhaps the original was misleading), and an attempt to discover what the map underneath was has caused damage to the leaf. Lacks the final leaf, a blank.
